Stephanie Boarman

Stephanie Boarman, MA, is a Resident in Counseling supervised by David Hawxhurst, LPC. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Longwood University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Louisville.

She has experience leading wilderness-based interventions for adults and adolescents and brings ministry experience and life coaching skills to her clinical work. She focuses on women’s issues across adolescence through senior years, addressing grief, trauma, anxiety, stress, co-dependency, and boundary development and uses genogram work to explore generational patterns and family dynamics.

Stephanie integrates evidence-based modalities—Grief Therapies, CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and the Enneagram—with Christian counseling informed by the Gospel. She emphasizes a strong therapeutic alliance and a safe, nurturing environment to help clients address relational roots and practical goals.
