Stephanie Dykema

Stephanie Dykema, Ph.D., SEP, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). She integrates relational-cultural therapy and somatic experiencing to address both the psychological and physiological aspects of healing.

As Director of Clinical Training at Chicago Counseling Collective, she is responsible for supervising clinicians-in-training and shaping the training curriculum, bringing clinical expertise to education and mentorship.

She focuses on exploring relationship patterns and societal messages that often result in shame, self-blame, and disconnection, helping clients work with relationship issues, trauma, and cultural or societal influences. Her somatic work facilitates nervous system regulation and a sense of safety within a collaborative, empathetic, holistic approach.
