Stephanie Stava

Stephanie Stava, MSW, LIMHP, LCSW, is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner who specializes in healing trauma for women and girls. She combines a strengths-based, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to trauma recovery.

She is skilled in EMDR, Brainspotting (BSP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Emotionally Focused Individual Trauma Therapy (EFIT). She holds a Master's in Social Work from the University of Denver and is licensed as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in Nebraska and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado and Minnesota, with over a decade of experience.

Stephanie has taught in the MSW Program at the University of Denver for five years and supervises therapists working towards licensure. She focuses on helping clients manage overwhelming emotions, rediscover their voice, and find greater wholeness through tailored, evidence-informed care.
