Steve Vigilante

Steve Vigilante, LPCC, is the Licensed Professional Clinical Director at San Francisco Stress and Anxiety Center. He draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a strong systems perspective to treat depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, abuse, crisis, trauma, LGBTQ+ concerns, and work-related stress.

After a career in advertising, he earned a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and has worked in hospitals, clinics, and community settings, which informs his understanding of high-pressure work environments and life transitions.

He offers individual, couples, and family therapy from his San Francisco FiDi office and via teletherapy. His goal is to empower clients to become their own therapists through a pragmatic, solution-focused approach that emphasizes trust and safety.
