Tara Davidson

Tara Davidson, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree from the University of La Verne and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. She has worked therapeutically since 2004 and opened her private practice in 2014.

She offers individual, couples, and adolescent therapy and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Gottman couples counseling; she is a Certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator. Her clinical experience includes work with survivors of domestic violence, children and families, military service members and their families, and pilots and other aviation professionals.

Tara's style is direct and compassionate, using a narrative, short-term, solution-focused approach and appropriate humor to create a productive therapeutic environment. She emphasizes consistent attendance, actionable plans, and exploring how personal history affects the future to help clients find relief and direction.
