Thomas Fewer

Thomas Fewer, LPC-S, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor and the founder, director, and primary therapist at New Orleans Counseling Center. He holds a Master’s in Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans and a bachelor’s from the Ohio State University, and is licensed in Louisiana and Arizona.

He uses cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches and is trained in depth psychology, working with anxiety, depression, relationships, trauma, and self-actualization. His experience spans outpatient, inpatient, and community settings, and he offers "walk and talk" therapy at Audubon Park, City Park, and on the levees.

Thomas takes a systematic, collaborative approach, viewing counseling as a team effort to define present concerns, set future goals, and work methodically toward those aims. He emphasizes trust, clear planning, and addressing root causes alongside present symptoms.
