Thomas Hallinan

Thomas Hallinan, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Atlas Psychiatry who combines insight-oriented psychodynamic treatments and evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapies. He is specializing in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, difficulties with emotion regulation, and interpersonal problems.

He earned his masters and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology at Duquesne University and completed an internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (New Orleans VA). He worked at the VA's general mental health clinic and mentored psychiatry residents, psychology interns, and post-doctoral fellows.

Dr. Hallinan is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). He tailors treatment to each client's needs and provides compassionate, individualized care.
