Trina Greer

Trina Greer, Psy.D., LCP, LPC, LMFT, is founder and executive director of Genesis Counseling Center and a licensed clinical psychologist with more than thirty years of experience.

She specializes in trauma recovery, grief and loss, assessment of children and adolescents, and anxiety disorders. As the daughter of missionaries to Africa, she has consulted to missionaries, ministered to African refugees, and authored a manual for Christian leaders in West Africa addressing the needs of trauma victims.

She has served as an adjunct instructor at Regent University, supervises psychotherapists in training, and co-founded Genesis Assist with her husband, Steve Greer. A member of the APA and the AACC, Dr. Greer grounds clinical work in a spiritual framework focused on helping clients find meaning and peace.
