Valyne Craig

Valyne Craig is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a 14-year career to helping people and families navigate trauma and mental health challenges at Blooming Desert Therapy. Craig works with trauma, mental health challenges, and family dynamics.

Craig's educational journey began in an adolescent group home for teen boys, providing therapeutic support and facilitating daily groups. She later worked as a Therapeutic Behavior Specialist, offering in-home counseling and behavior modification support. Her experience includes crisis work in psychiatric hospitals, where she ran group therapy sessions for people on psychosis wings and those on 5150 holds.

Craig employs Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Art Therapy. Her approach is comprehensive and adaptable, tailoring treatment to each client's needs. Clients can expect a nurturing space where they can work towards improved mental health and overall well-being.
