Valyne Craig

Valyne Craig, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a 14-year career at Blooming Desert Therapy, helping individuals and families navigate trauma and other mental health challenges.

She draws from Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, and Play Therapy to tailor treatment to each client's needs. Her background includes work in an adolescent group home for teen boys, in-home Therapeutic Behavior Specialist services, crisis group work on psychiatric hospital psychosis wings and 5150 holds, and launching an art therapy program in the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility.

Valyne creates safe, non-judgmental spaces, addresses cultural and socio-economic barriers to care, and focuses on building healing, supportive relationships for clients in crisis and recovery.
