Vanessa Vargas

Vanessa Vargas, MS, MA, LPCC, is a bilingual licensed professional clinical counselor based in Columbus, Ohio; she serves adult individuals and couples across Ohio. Her therapeutic style integrates psychodynamic, humanistic, and interpersonal therapies and uses mind/body-based practices to build coping skills, reduce stress, and increase connectedness. She honors cultural identities and values and focuses on culture, identity, trauma, relationship dynamics, spirituality, and mental wellness.

She has clinical experience in college counseling centers, neuropsychological testing, and private practice; she served as Senior Staff Therapist and Latinx Specialist at The Ohio State University Counseling and Consultation Service and completed a Doctoral Internship in Professional Psychology at the University of Maine Counseling Center.
