Wendy Long

Wendy Long, MSW, RCSWI, is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. She earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Central Florida in 2019 and is working towards her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentials under the supervision of Marbel Freay Locarno, MSW, LCSW.

She is specializing in guiding teens and adults through life's most challenging transitions and emotional hurdles, with areas of expertise in grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Wendy uses client-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused therapy to tailor care to each client’s needs.

At Mid Florida Counseling, Wendy works as part of a team providing community-focused therapeutic services. She emphasizes empathy, practical skill-building, and clients’ capacity for growth to help them navigate change and meet attainable goals.
