Alissa Bottoms

Alissa Bottoms, M.Ed., LCMHC, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a master's degree in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She creates a supportive and respectful environment where clients of all ages can express their unique thoughts and feelings freely.

She works with stress management, anxiety, depression, relational and social concerns, and navigating significant life changes, and sees clients individually as children, adolescents, adults, and families. Alissa uses a diverse array of theoretical approaches and evidence-based techniques tailored to each client's specific needs and goals.

Alissa emphasizes a relationship built on mutual respect, trust, and understanding and helps clients gain a deeper understanding of their emotions and thoughts while equipping them with practical skills to manage overwhelming feelings. She views her role as a partner in clients' growth, facilitating learning, adaptation, and healing.
