Andrew Gast

Andrew Gast, Psy.D., is a psychologist at the Hollywood Psychology Center. He holds a Doctorate in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and brings life experience from a previous career as a professional chef.

He works with children, adults, families, couples, and the geriatric population, addressing substance abuse issues, anxiety, depression, grief, parenting challenges, relationship problems, and social skill development. He is a Certified Florida Department of Transportation Substance Abuse Professional and has experience performing psychological evaluations for bariatric and other medical procedures and surgeries.

He emphasizes a collaborative, client-centered approach and states, "The clients are the experts on themselves, and I bring my psychological expertise." He does not operate as a forensic psychologist and focuses his practice on therapeutic interventions and supporting client growth.
