Carol Melim

Carol Melim, LCSW, is Clinical Director at Lighthouse Psychiatry. She earned a Master's in Social Work from Arizona State University in 2008 and specializes in working with adopted and fostered children, treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma.

She is an EMDR Certified therapist through EMDRIA with training in early trauma reprocessing and Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol (R-TEP). Carol provided therapeutic foster care for seven years for children adopted from both overseas and within the United States.

She works with children, teens, and adults ages 4 to 64 and balances compassionate, practical clinical care with supervising a team at Lighthouse Psychiatry, focusing on helping families find stability and belonging.
