Celeste Nettles

Celeste Nettles is a counselor who is a counselor at Greensboro Counseling Partners. With over 19 years of experience, she works with young children, adolescents, adults, and families addressing mental health challenges such as chronic pain, ADHD, depression, trauma, and anxiety.

Nettles holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (1988) and a Master's of Behavioral Sciences (1990) from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. She furthered her education with a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1992. Her internship at the Center for Cognitive Rehabilitation at East Jefferson Hospital in Metarie, Louisiana, provided valuable experience.

In her practice, Nettles employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, behavior management, and play therapy. She emphasizes utilizing existing strengths to improve clients' lives. Her approach encourages clients to draw on their life experiences and self-knowledge for guidance.
