Chrisinda Hunter

Chrisinda Hunter, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. She utilizes play therapy to improve communication, address maladaptive behaviors, and enhance overall family functioning.

She completed her Master of Science in Family Therapy from Friends University in July 2019 and provided therapy for a diverse age range, from 4 to 80 years old, at First United Methodist Church in downtown Wichita. Chrisinda is trained in Sandtray and Child Play Therapy methods and is a certified Level 1 Gottman Method Facilitator.

Her compassionate and brain-based approach is client-centered, emphasizes integrity, and guides her clients towards empowerment and healthy autonomy.
