Courtney Burns

Courtney Burns is a private practitioner at Las Colinas Counseling Center. She works with mood disorders, trauma, grief, and substance abuse, and serves as a HIMS-approved aftercare provider for pilots. Burns also offers guidance on parenting issues.

Burns holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Texas Tech University and an M.A. in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. Her career began in the corporate and non profit sectors before transitioning to counseling in 2012. Her early experience includes roles at Raj Shiwach MD PA in DeSoto, TX, and Wise Regional Health System in Decatur, TX, focusing on mood disorders and geriatrics.

Her eclectic and holistic approach addresses the interconnectedness of body, mind, and soul, incorporating physical wellness and spirituality. Burns uses a variety of modalities to help clients navigate challenges and achieve personal growth. Her practice provides a structured environment for healing and development.
