Cynthia Meza

Cynthia Meza, M.Ed., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who specializes in childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, anger rehabilitation, and family conflict.

She uses Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and provides direct therapy to clients in individual settings. Her training includes a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s in Education Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and her work as a former bilingual teacher informs her clinical perspective.

Cynthia creates a secure and nurturing environment and uses culturally appropriate strategies to help clients develop practical skills to challenge unhelpful thoughts and modify maladaptive behaviors. As a lifelong resident of the Rio Grande Valley, she brings community understanding and a commitment to supporting diverse clients.
