Cynthia Wingate

Cynthia Wingate, MA, LMHC, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, practices in Jacksonville, Florida and provides non-judgmental, culturally informed therapy. She is a graduate of the University of North Florida, where she earned her master’s in counseling psychology Summa cum laude.

She works with adolescents struggling with academic pressures, couples navigating relationship challenges, and families seeking to strengthen their bonds, addressing depression, anxiety, panic, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, and self-esteem concerns. She also offers specialized LGBTQ+ therapy and faith-based counseling.

In 2017, she successfully advocated for a bill in Delaware that expanded practice rights for out-of-state certified counselors and she is a voting member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association and member of Mental Health Counselors of Palm Beach, Florida. Her practice focuses on equipping clients with skills to manage stress and foster sustainable, healthy change.
