With over three decades of experience as a professional Counselor, Coach, and Consultant, David Stanzak brings a wealth of expertise to his practice at Heart to Heart Counseling in Spokane, Washington. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, David offers a unique blend of skills and knowledge to support his clients' growth and healing.

David's journey in the field of mental health began in 1989, and he has since dedicated his career to helping individuals, couples, and groups navigate life's challenges. In 1991, he earned his Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University, laying the foundation for his future as a Clinical Social Worker. His commitment to excellence in his field is evident through his national recognition by the Academy of Clinical Social Workers and his role in supervising other counselors since 2003.

Specializing in marriage counseling, psychotherapy, and coaching, David employs a diverse range of therapeutic techniques to address his clients' needs. His extensive training includes Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Guided Imagery, Impact Personal Development, Acton Coaching, Psychodrama, Transactional Analysis, Group, Gestalt, Arica Protoanalytical System, and Family and Inner-child Therapies.
