David Stanzak

David Stanzak, LICSW, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress with over three decades of experience since 1989 at Heart to Heart Counseling in Spokane, Washington. He earned his MSW from Eastern Washington University in 1991.

He specializes in marriage counseling, psychotherapy, and coaching and is a Certified Diplomate with the American Psychotherapy Association. He is skilled in EMDR, Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), psychodrama, and family and inner-child therapies to tailor treatment to individual and relational needs.

David has supervised other counselors since 2003 and has facilitated more than two thousand group functions, bringing an assertive, intuitive, problem-solving style to work with individuals, couples, and groups focused on restoring relationships and fostering growth.
