Heather Martin

Heather Martin, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly two decades of experience in outpatient therapy. Since 2003, Heather has been dedicated to providing consistent and ethical client care.

She began her social work career in community mental health in Brooklyn, NY and spent 12 years honing her skills in private practice in Pittsburgh. She has been an adjunct faculty instructor in the MSW program at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work since 2012.

As Director & Clinical Supervisor at Alliance Therapy Center, Heather provides supervision and clinical leadership. Her supervision style is rooted in psychodynamic theory, with a strong focus on ethical practice and countertransference resolution.
