Jack Morgan

Dr. Jack Morgan, M.D., is a psychiatrist with over five decades of clinical experience who specializes in psychiatric medication management. He holds a medical degree from Tulane University (1971) and a Master’s in Physiology, and he trained in the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology at Tulane.

Dr. Morgan has held leadership roles throughout his career, serving as Medical Director for Methadone Clinics in New Orleans, leading Alcohol and Drug Services at the Memphis Veterans Affairs Hospital, and directing Psychiatric Services at Mid-South Hospital and Eastwood Hospital. He has also chaired the Medical and Scientific Advisory Council and served on the board of the Alzheimer's Association of the Mid South.

In his current practice he focuses on medication management for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic disorders, trauma/PTSD, dementia, and work-related injuries. New patients typically have a 15–20 minute first appointment focused on diagnosis and developing a medication plan.
