About
Jackie Miller, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in depression, anxiety, grief and loss, women's issues, anger management, ADHD, family conflicts, self-esteem, and trauma. She works with children as young as 6 to adults, including veterans and members of the LGBT community.
Her path to counseling follows a 26-year career as a Fire Sergeant and EMT and 12 years of service in the Army Reserves. She holds a baccalaureate degree in Communications from Columbus State University and a master's degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Troy University, with training at Fort Benning and post-graduate work at the Bradley Center.
Jackie uses evidence-based, goal-oriented treatments to help clients address practical challenges and manage symptoms. Her first-responder and military background informs a compassionate, understanding approach focused on building resilience and improving daily functioning.
