Jules Hernandez

Jules Hernandez, MA, LAC, NCC, is a Licensed Associate Counselor who specializes in the experiences of first-generation, immigrant, and undocumented individuals. A Latina and Tucson native, she is bilingual in English and Spanish and is LGBTQ+ friendly.

She earned her MA in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arizona in 2021 and works with adults, teens, and children. She uses Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing.

Her approach is grounded in social justice and non-oppressive lenses, creating a safe, welcoming, non-judgmental, culturally responsive space. She emphasizes client autonomy and collaborates as a supportive partner to address depression, anxiety, trauma (including racial trauma), ADHD, and self-esteem.
