Karen Steen

Karen Steen is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has over two decades of experience. Steen works with people facing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, affair recovery, and stress management. She assists people, couples, families, adults, and adolescents, and supervises Provisional Licensed Professional Counselors.

Steen holds a Master's Degree from McNeese State University, obtained in 2003. Her extensive expertise allows her to effectively guide clients through their challenges, helping them improve their quality of life. As an LPC Supervisor certified by the Louisiana LPC Board, she is committed to advancing the field of counseling.

Steen employs a flexible therapeutic approach tailored to each client's needs, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Anthetic Relationship Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and EMDR. Her compassionate and skilled approach provides a supportive environment for clients to navigate life's challenges and work towards positive change.
