Katrina Volante

Katrina Volante is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who brings a multicultural perspective to her practice. She works with adults aged 17 and older, addressing depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety management, self-harm, and life transitions. Volante also supports LGBTQIA+ clients in navigating personal challenges.

Volante's journey from teaching in the United States, Italy, and China to mental health counseling in Shanghai has enriched her holistic approach. Her global experience includes crisis counseling during COVID lockdowns and Hurricane Ian. This diverse background enhances her ability to understand the universal quest for meaning and acceptance across cultures.

Her therapeutic approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy and affirmative counseling, encouraging clients to explore a constructivist perspective. Volante aims to help clients develop healthier thoughts and behaviors by understanding their experiences. Clients can expect a supportive environment where they can explore challenges and work toward personal growth.
