Kristine Kitchener

Kristine Kitchener, RN, BSN, MSN, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her RN, BSN from Lewis University School of Nursing in 1998 and her MSN, Nurse Practitioner in Mental Health from Walden University in 2022, bringing over two decades in healthcare, including sixteen years in inpatient mental health.

She specializes in PTSD, addiction/chemical illness, chronic pain, eating disorders, and sleep disturbances, and works with individuals age thirteen through the end of life, couples, families, and groups.

Her clinical background includes inpatient psychiatric treatment, chemical dependence/substance abuse units, ICU and PACU, pain clinics, postpartum and cardiac units, and outpatient surgery. She uses a thorough assessment and a relationship-driven, multicultural approach, drawing on cognitive-behavioral family therapy, solution-focused therapy, and relationship/interpersonal therapy.
