About
Larry Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience providing mental health therapy. Before entering the counseling field, he served 23 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Pararescue man (PJ), retiring in 1996. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University, where he completed his thesis on Post Traumatic Stress and Experiential Learning.
Larry has worked extensively in substance abuse treatment, co-occurring mental health and justice-involved populations, residential treatment for adolescents, and private practice. He specializes in supporting children and teens with autism spectrum challenges, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders, while also working with families to build healthier dynamics. With his unique background in emergency medicine, Larry is especially skilled in working with clients—both children and adults—impacted by trauma and PTSD.
