Leah Boring

Leah Boring, LPCC-S, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation who treats depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, teen and young adult issues, parenting and family concerns, couples therapy, LGBTQ+ issues, and adjustment to medical diagnoses. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), trained in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), and is a Gottman Institute trained couples therapist.

She earned a BA in Psychology and MEd in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Ohio University and worked for several years as a community-based family therapist at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, serving clients across the lifespan.

Creating a safe space where clients can be unapologetically and wholeheartedly themselves is at the core of Leah Boring's therapeutic approach. She focuses on building clients' existing strengths while offering support, validation, and practical tools, frequently helping those who have had negative experiences with therapy find approaches that resonate.
