Maggie Dunleavy

Maggie Dunleavy, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker who works with adults and couples and is specializing in queer and trans clients. Her trauma-informed, eclectic practice draws from psychodynamic practice, relational cultural therapy, internal family systems, and acceptance and commitment therapy, and incorporation of somatic-focused mindfulness techniques.

She holds a Master's degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Informed by critical race theory, queer theory, and feminist theory and committed to ongoing cultural humility and anti-racist practice, she supports clients with gender identity, sex and sexuality, loss and grief, depression, anxiety, relationship dynamics, and self-acceptance.
