Mara Mesa

Mara Mesa, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adults addressing trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety, and major life transitions. She uses evidence-based, trauma-informed care and is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), EMDR, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

As a veteran and the wife of a retired soldier, she brings direct insight into the challenges faced by military personnel and their families. Her clinical experience includes childhood trauma, substance abuse disorders, and co-occurring depression and anxiety.

Mara creates a non-judgmental, compassionate environment and tailors treatment to each client’s needs. She is open to incorporating faith-based prayer and focuses on building resilience and practical coping skills.
