Mary-Catherine McClain

Dr. Mary-Catherine McClain is a licensed psychologist practicing in the Greenville area. McClain works with people facing food and body image issues, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, self-harm behaviors, and trauma-related experiences. She also assists couples, addressing both individual and relational challenges.

Dr. McClain holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology from Florida State University, where she also earned her Educational Specialist and Master's degrees. Her professional journey includes a pre-doctoral internship at Johns Hopkins University Counseling Center and a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Georgia Counseling Center.

McClain employs a relationship-focused approach, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solutions-focused therapy.
