Matt George

Matt George, M.S., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping adults with depressed mood, self-doubt, anxiety, low self-esteem, and life transitions. He uses an integrated counseling drawing from humanistic, strengths-based, and meaning-centered approaches to tailor care to each client.

He earned a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Mount Mary University and completed internship placements at The United Community Center and WCTC/Workforce Development Center. He is a member of the Constructivist Psychology Network (CPN) and the World Association for Person Centered & Experiential Psychotherapy & Counseling (WAPCEPC).

Matt is especially attuned to highly sensitive individuals (HSPs) and introverts and centers therapy on authenticity, equality, curiosity, and openness to experience. He emphasizes mindfulness, meaning-making, and a prizing, non-coercive therapeutic stance to help clients clarify identity and navigate personal growth.
