Mayra Sanchez

Mayra Sanchez, LPC, is a bilingual psychotherapist with over two decades of experience in mental health. She specializes in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, anxiety, and grief and focuses on domestic violence, anger management, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and separation from loved ones and dislocation due to migration.

She worked with immigrant children and families through the Office of Refugee and Resettlement for over a decade and provides psychological immigration evaluations. She is licensed in Texas and founded Hope for Healing Therapy.

Mayra has lived and raised her family in the Rio Grande Valley for over 40 years. She believes in helping clients tell their stories and learn to live as their most authentic selves and is not taking new clients.
