Mike Mincy

Mike Mincy, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has been guiding older teens, adults, couples, and families through life's challenges for over seven years.

He specializes in anxiety, trauma, and depression and also addresses behavioral issues, divorce adjustment, family conflict, peer-related problems, grief, and parenting challenges. He uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and integrative family systems theory, along with solution-based practices to tailor treatment.

Mike received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work from Florida State University and joined Tallahassee Counseling Center in 2018. His holistic approach recognizes how emotional concerns often intertwine with life transitions and relationships, emphasizing practical, evidence-based strategies and collaborative care.
