Skaggs holds a master's degree and has extensive experience in family and criminal court systems. Her twenty-year involvement with the court system equips her with specialized skills in high-conflict divorce cases, co-parenting counseling, and reunification therapy, enhancing her ability to support families through complex transitions.

Her approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy with her forensic background, offering evaluations, consultations, and mediation. Skaggs is also a Forensic Interviewer and Mediator, focusing on Domestic/Divorce Mediations and Victim-Offender Mediation.
