Muranda Griggs

Muranda Griggs is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Master Addictions Counselor with extensive experience in the mental health field since 2008. She earned her Master’s degree in Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse from Southern New Hampshire University and has worked across a variety of settings including schools, community-based programs, juvenile detention and probation, VA clinics, adolescent substance abuse treatment, child advocacy centers, and emergency psychiatric departments. Muranda specializes in working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma or abuse, as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, and school-related challenges.

Muranda provides support for parents coping with the stress and emotional impact of their children’s struggles. Her therapeutic approach is client-centered and integrates evidence-based practices, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Expressive Art Therapy (TI-EAT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Structural and Strategic Family Therapy, and Narrative Therapies.
