About
Dr. Neil E. Aronov, Ph.D., is a clinical and forensic psychologist with over four decades of continuous private practice. He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from Virginia Tech.
In forensic work he conducts Independent Psychological Examinations for personal injury, malpractice, workplace harassment, and PTSD-related psychological injuries. His forensic work extends to sexual abuse cases, wrongful death psychological impact assessments, and guardianship evaluations. Clinically he assesses and treats mood disorders (depression, bipolar), anxiety disorders, trauma—particularly PTSD—and provides couples therapy, often co-treating with medical specialties.
He is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the University of Memphis Department of Psychology, training Doctoral Clinical Psychology students. He combines forensic and clinical experience to provide thorough evaluations and evidence-informed care.
