With a unique journey that blends adventure, music, and a deep passion for helping others, Nicole Lee, LCSW-S, brings over 20 years of experience to her role as the owner of Nicole Lee Counseling, PLLC. Her path to becoming a psychotherapist began with a transformative experience during her time in New York City, where she witnessed the events of September 11, 2001. This pivotal moment inspired her to pursue a career in mental health, leading her to obtain a Master's in Social Work from The University of Texas in Austin.

Nicole's approach to therapy is firmly grounded in the Relational Model, reflecting her belief that relationships - both with ourselves and others - are key to feeling content, fulfilled, secure, and empowered. Her natural instinct for exploration has translated into great success with clients, as she works collaboratively to unlock inner strengths and develop effective coping strategies for past, present, and future stressors.

Specializing in adolescent counseling, Nicole has honed a warm, non-judgmental, humorous, yet direct approach that resonates particularly well with teenagers. Her extensive experience in community mental health has equipped her to work successfully with a wide array of mental health needs across all age groups and genders. Nicole's expertise spans various areas including behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, substance usage, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and issues related to gender and sexual identity.

Nicole's diverse background, including her early career in the music industry and her time studying abroad in Costa Rica, informs her holistic approach to therapy.
