Philicia Rubin, PsyD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, is Co-Director at Groundwork Therapy and provides both brief and long-term therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples. She brings a warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth style that emphasizes building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship.
Her clinical expertise includes a special emphasis on depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties, with a specialized focus on issues related to gender, sexuality, and identity. She also has six years of experience in college counseling centers supporting undergraduate and graduate students.
Dr. Rubin co-founded Groundwork Therapy and previously held roles at Fordham University's Counseling and Psychological Services including Group Therapy Program Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator, and Supervising Psychologist. She uses genuine curiosity, compassion, and a sense of humor to help clients explore their authentic selves and pursue meaningful growth.
