As a double Board Certified Psychiatrist in General Psychiatry and Neurology as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Agustines employs a functional medicine approach that addresses the root causes of psychiatric conditions.
With over two decades of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Dr. Agustines has honed her expertise in treating a wide range of mental health issues. Her practice focuses on addressing ADD/ADHD, mania, depression, grief, anxiety, paranoia, and feelings of hopelessness. Dr. Agustines' approach goes beyond traditional medication management, incorporating nutritional, metabolic, toxicological, and genetic factors into her comprehensive treatment plans.
Dr. Agustines' educational background is as impressive as her clinical experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Miami before obtaining her medical degree from the University of North Dakota. She further refined her skills through a residency in psychiatry at the University of South Florida, followed by additional fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry.
At The Costello Center, Dr. Agustines serves a diverse clientele, including men, women (including pregnant or breastfeeding women), children, and teens.
