With a passion for understanding individual complexity and a deep love for her profession, Dr. Rosana Marzullo-Dove brings a unique blend of expertise and empathy to her role as a licensed psychologist and founder of Tampa Therapy & Wellness. Her approach is rooted in helping individuals find themselves, release emotional pains, and achieve deeper connections through improved communication.

Dr. Marzullo-Dove's extensive educational background includes a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the American School of Professional Psychology, a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, and a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington. Her training, completed at American Psychological Association (APA) accredited organizations, encompasses a wide range of therapeutic techniques including Psychotherapy, Couple Therapy, Group Therapy, CBT, DBT, EFT, Behavioral Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Mindfulness.

Throughout her career, Dr. Marzullo-Dove has worked with diverse populations, including children, teenagers, young adults, adults, older adults, couples, and various family structures (blended, International, LGBT). Her experience spans multiple settings, including private practice, university counseling centers, inpatient treatment centers, and outpatient facilities. Notably, she provided therapeutic services to children and adolescents with behavioral and psychological issues in a Washington, DC charter school and worked with emerging adults at Howard University.

At Tampa Therapy & Wellness, Dr. Marzullo-Dove offers a comprehensive range of services. For couples, she provides a semi-structured therapy plan using the Gottman Method and Emotional Focused Therapy, addressing issues such as communication breakdowns, trust concerns, and intimacy problems. Her work with adults and older adults focuses on anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and more, utilizing various talk therapy techniques. She also specializes in supporting parents through fertility issues, adoption processes, postpartum depression, and child loss.

Dr. Marzullo-Dove's approach is characterized by her ability to create a warm, trusting relationship with clients, allowing for deep exploration of life situations and emotional challenges. Her commitment to understanding each individual's unique background and complexity enables her to tailor her therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of her clients, whether they're seeking individual, couple, or family therapy.

As a leader in her field, Dr. Marzullo-Dove has served as the Past-President of the Psychoanalytical local chapter (WPSP) of the American Psychological Association (APA) in Washington, DC. Her academic achievements include graduating Summa Cum Laude, being elected President of Phi Theta Kappa, and receiving the New Century Award and Excellence in Leadership in the Latino Community Award. This blend of academic excellence and practical experience allows her to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to her clients at Tampa Therapy & Wellness.
