Ryan Rose, Psy.D., is a psychologist who provides LGBTQIAAPP2+ affirming therapy and trans affirming therapy (including evaluations and letter writing for trans affirming surgery).
He earned his Psy.D. from Wright State University's School of Professional Psychology after beginning at The Ohio State University in 2009, completed an internship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and postdoctoral training at The Ohio State University, and since Spring 2019 has offered individual, couples, and group therapy at City Counseling.
A generalist integrative clinician, he uses Rogerian, interpersonal, family systems, psychodynamic, existential/humanistic, and multicultural approaches to tailor collaborative care that helps clients find a therapeutic voice, build self‑esteem, and increase interpersonal independence. He identifies as a gay, temporarily able‑bodied, cisgender male.
