Sandra Ancas

Sandra Ancas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults, focusing on substance abuse counseling, individual therapy, marital counseling, and family therapy. Ancas helps clients aged 18 and older navigate life's challenges.

Ancas began her mental health career at the University of Scranton, earning a Bachelor's degree, followed by a Master's in Social Work from Marywood University. She has shared her expertise as an Adjunct faculty member at Marywood University's Graduate Social Work Department for a decade. Her career includes various counseling roles in Luzerne County and a decade of service at the VA Hospital.

Ancas employs a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, using Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Problem Solving Therapy. Clients can expect a compassionate, experienced therapist to their well-being, offering guidance through their therapeutic journey.
