Sarah's therapeutic approach is rooted in a culturally competent, trauma-informed care perspective, with attachment theory serving as a fundamental framework for exploring her clients' experiences. Her versatile toolbox includes a range of modalities, from Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques and Solution Focused interventions to mindfulness and acceptance and empowerment practices. This diverse skill set allows Sarah to tailor her approach to each client's specific needs and goals.
Throughout her career, Sarah has worked with a wide spectrum of clients, supporting individuals and families through complex life transitions. Her experience spans from young adult life challenges and educational/vocational transitions to relationship dynamics, marriage, divorce, and custody issues. She has also developed expertise in areas such as military and civilian PTSD, sexual trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and various mental health disorders including Bi-Polar Disorder and ADD/ADHD. Additionally, Sarah has experience working with substance use issues, neurocognitive disorders, chronic medical issues, and providing caregiver support.
