Sarah Stevens is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in perinatal and postpartum mental health. She works with new and expectant mothers, offering support for anxiety, grief and loss, and relationship issues. Stevens also provides bilingual counseling in Spanish, assisting people, couples, and families.

Stevens earned her Master's of Social Work from UNC-School of Social Work in 2003 and achieved full clinical licensure in 2005. Her career includes work at the Institute for Family-Centered Services in Raleigh and a 17-year tenure at the Lucy Daniels Center for Early Childhood, where she developed a mental health program for young children.

Using a psychodynamic framework, Stevens incorporates solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques. Clients can expect a respectful, non judgmental environment. Her extensive experience in Spanish-language therapy enhances her cultural competence.
