Sarah Stevens

Sarah Stevens, MA, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in perinatal and postpartum mental health. She supports the journey from conception (including infertility complications) through the first two years after childbirth, supporting mothers and families.

She uses a psychodynamic framework and incorporates solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness; she is Certified in Circle of Security. Sarah provides bilingual counseling in Spanish.

A graduate of UNC-School of Social Work, Sarah earned her MSW in 2003 and attained clinical licensure in 2005. She spent 17 years at the Lucy Daniels Center and helped create a mental health program through Wake County SmartStart; she welcomes clients aged 17 and up for anxiety, depression, and grief.
