About
Shadena Natty is the Executive Director of Clinical Services at Sun Point Wellness. Natty works with people, couples, and those facing addiction issues, focusing on sexual concerns and out-of-control sexual behaviors. She welcomes people from all cultural and religious backgrounds, with a particular focus on people of color.
Natty holds two master's degrees in Human Services and Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Her extensive background includes addiction treatment, community mental health, and crisis intervention. She has also served as a lecturer in Clinical Mental Health and Human Services.
Natty employs EMDR therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, and Reality Psychotherapy, integrating somatic approaches to address trauma. Clients can expect a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach to therapy, aiming to help them overcome barriers and achieve personal goals.
