Shannon Maxwell

Dr. Shannon Maxwell is a Licensed Psychologist with extensive experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and higher education. She earned both her Master’s degree and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Illinois. Her predoctoral training included an internship at Park Nicollet Clinic in Minnesota, where she specialized in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapies, and a practicum at Elgin State Mental Hospital on the NGRI unit.

At Black Hills Psychology, Dr. Maxwell provides psychological assessment services for adults, focusing on diagnostic evaluations for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other psychological conditions.
