Steve Evans is a clinical mental health counselor who brings a quarter-century of experience to his clinical mental health counseling practice. Evans works with children, teens, adults, and seniors, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma. He also helps with relationship issues and complex grief.
Evans's career began with 14 years as a substance abuse counselor in the U.S. Navy, followed by 5 years in civilian counseling. For the past 6 years, he has focused on mental health and Christian counseling, blending faith-based and evidence-based practices to offer inclusive services for clients of all beliefs.
Employing a Gestalt and Existential approach alongside cognitive behavioral techniques, Evans provides a client centered experience. He offers both in-person and telehealth sessions, ensuring accessibility and a safe space for all clients, including those from the LGBTQIA+ community.
