Sydney Bain

Sydney Bain is a Master's Level Intern at Healing Spaces. Bain works with adults, focusing on self-esteem, depression, and providing specialized support for Black women and autistic people. Her practice incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, along with Gestalt therapy.

Bain is pursuing a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Her experience as a paraprofessional in the Special School District has provided her with insights into diverse individual needs.

Bain's therapeutic approach prioritizes the client's voice, creating a space where feelings and experiences are central. She equips clients with actionable strategies that foster resilience and self-acceptance. With Bain, clients can expect a supportive partnership aimed at navigating life's challenges effectively.
